Event Details
Get a jumpstart on your garden and grow it inexpensively and easily with the Winter Sowing method. You can start your seeds right now in the winter without any fancy indoor equipment. Learn how to make mini “greenhouses” out of milk jugs that can be placed outdoors right in the snow and will supply you with an abundance of seedlings ready to plant out at just the right time.
Participants will leave with 3 completed milk jug greenhouses that they plant with seeds such as blanket flower, columbine, cosmos, poppy, lettuce, kale, chamomile, and cilantro.
